Community Service Day for the Windermere Real Estate Offices in Henderson was glorious.  About 100 agents showed up at 8:30 am on Friday, October 20th and donated their time and energy to livening up an at-risk elementary school on the east side of Las Vegas.  The children, kindergarten through 6th grade, were delighted with all of the cleaning and painting that went on that day.  The Windermere agents and owners power washed the playground equipment, planted a new garden in the courtyard, washed all the windows in the school, inside and out, painted murals to elevate the children's spirits and, instead of ordinary posters outlining the school rules, small murals were painted throughout the hallways, exits and entrances.  The crew from Windermere worked until 4:00 pm making this elementary school one that the children could be proud of and therefore proud of themselves.
